Instantly upload your items

Virtually every fulfilment task refers to an item, so it is important that basic details are provided. Products may be created manually or automatically from an Excel spreadsheet using the Upload Manager feature. If you have a lot of different products (sometimes referred to as ‘SKUs’) the latter option is recommended. However, if you want to get started quickly and only selling a few items, it is easier to enter the data. Remember, fulfilmentcrowd only need three pieces of information to receive your stock in any of our centres – product code, description (as presented to your customer) and barcode. Watch our video

Time to send your goods

When ready to move forward, we will allocate you to a fulfilmentcrowd centre and provide full details of the location for insurance purposes (you must insure goods in transit and storage). Using the fulfilmentcrowd platform, create a new Inventory Transfer detailing the Products and quantities to be sent. This is important as stock quantities can then be checked as accurate upon receipt. We recommend that all goods are sent on a tracked and signed for courier service. If you are importing, we can arrange freight and clearance through port; please discuss with our business development team. Check out the video

Welcome to your new home

All goods are scanned into fulfilmentcrowd centres for 100% accuracy. If barcodes are required, we will forward a quotation to ‘Rework’ the items into a compliant state i.e. apply barcode labels. Assuming, your goods are barcode identified and pre-advised on an Inventory Transfer, we have 16 working hours to scan, reconcile and putaway to a location. At this point, the stock is available for order fulfilment and charges for storage commence, based on cubic metres occupied. Using the fulfilmentcrowd platform, you have total visibility over the amount of stock held in our centres and precise location(s). Watch our video for more information

Connect your website in seconds

The fulfilmentcrowd platform is API-integrated with most major marketplaces and ecommerce solutions. Select channel e.g. ‘Shopify UK Website’, enter your secure credentials and authenticate almost instantly. This handshake enables stock data, orders and status updates to be seamlessly shared between your fulfilment and online systems. Within seconds of a customer completing their order online, it will be collecte, allocated to the closest centre with stock and processed by the fulfilmentcrowd platform without any human intervention. Slick Pick, Fast Pack

Our platform is highly automated and provided that stock is available, orders will be presented to our picking team within minutes of checkout. All picking is managed on a handheld device which guides an operative to the stock location and ensures that all items and quantities are correct before presentation to the packing team. Each packing bench is equipped with the IT and packaging consumables required. Items are scanned again at this stage into a bag or box before being weighed and labelled with the shipping label. Conveyors take the parcel to a marshalling area for sortation into the correct carrier cage ahead of collection. Last year, 98.6% of all orders received before 13.00 were dispatched on the same day. Shipped to Perfection

The fulfilmentcrowd platform is API integrated with our carrier partners. Once packed, parcels are routed through the lowest-cost service and your customer will receive a branded email confirming dispatch and tracking details. With the exception of standard post, all deliveries are tracked through the network to destination, which gives you and your customer total assurance. Our UK and EU premium parcel services feature ‘inflight’ options that allow timing, destination or delivery changes to be made whilst goods are in transit. To avoid unnecessary complications and surcharges, our standard services are all based on deadweight rates. The price you see on the tariff, is the price you pay. Check out the video

What goes out
may come back

Easy and fast returns is a business-critical process and a major element of overall customer satisfaction. Yet, it is probably the last thing online retailers think about. fulfilmentcrowd have spent years finessing the art of returns from customer initiation through shipping to completion. Items are returned to a nominated centre in UK, US or EU using a branded and tracked returns shipping solution. Upon receipt, these are inspected and a decision is made whether the goods are suitable for resale or rework. Once complete, a push notification advises that the refund can be authorised. Simple billing and payment

Our process is fully automated, with all shipping, fulfilment services and consumables invoiced weekly, in arrears. And here is the good news, if you have a good week of sales, volume discounts are automatically applied to your bill, saving up to 20% on your costs! Your peace of mind is very important to us, so we supplement this with detailed activity reports which are available on the fulfilmentcrowd platform using desktop, tablet or mobile app. Payment is collected within 7 days by Direct Debit for clients located in the UK, SEPA (EU) or ACH (USA).
